The tools below will help you produce your comprehensive CAMHS integrated workforce plan. It provides a workforce planning template which guides you through the stages of integrated workforce planning in order to successfully complete your own plan. The data workbook, training modules and audit tools support you to engage partners and gain their input and advice as an integral part in the planning process, collect and analyse data and build capacity and capability to workforce plan amongst provider and commissioner organisations.

AUDIT THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORKFORCE

An integral part of workforce planning and development is the identification and analysis of what skills and knowledge the workforce has in order to meet the psychological well-being and mental health needs of children and young people.

The Self Assessed Skills Audit Tool (SASAT- CoRE) will significantly support your Partnership in gathering and mapping the skills in the workforce to assist you in your application to be a CYP IAPT site.

The individual, team and service profiles will assist your Partnership in the production of a training needs analysis, mapping presenting clinical need with skill sets, identifying current and potential gaps. The information generated will support you to respond flexibly to the opportunity of the education and training offered in the evidence based therapies and ultimately support service transformation.

The Children's Services Mapping team have produced a tool to assist services in collecting 'Presenting problems' information.  The Mapping team will no longer collect this information on a national level.  Locally services may wish to collect new data which can be compared and thematically analysed with previous years' benchmarked data available in the data workbook.
